In 2012, I started thinking about what to paint on.

I chose Japanese paper.

I learned from a traditional craftsman.
伝統工芸師のもとで学びました。
I even made my own paper.
自分で和紙を作りました。
And used it for my exhibition in Paris.
それをパリ個展で使いました。
But I could not stay.
でも、そこに留まれませんでした。
I kept leaving for the city.
何度も外へ出ました。
One day, I was told I was no longer welcome.
ある日、破門されました。
